Our approach to system development involves a structured Project Life Cycle. In a typical development project, each project stage requires both a Peyison deliverable and a client sign off.  Each stage and deliverable is designed to isolate a specific area for review and comment. For example, the Project Requirements are designed to illustrate what the system is to do. Your sign off signifies that we have adequately captured all aspects of system function.

During the System Analysis Stage, for example, Peyison develops a detailed statement of Project Requirements. The Project Requirements typically describe the following features:

  • Application features 

  • Application functions

  • System Architecture

  • Inputs Description

  • Output contents

  • User Interface Design / Structure

During the System Design Stage, we may design a partially functioning Prototype Application. The Prototype demonstrates the implementation of the features and attributes contained in the Project Requirements. The goal of the Prototype is not to develop a fully functioning application, rather it is an iterative process where the user can provide feedback on how features are implemented, how the application appears and how the user navigates through the system.

During the System Implementation stage, Peyison may deliver and install a Beta Application. This application will demonstrate how the fully functioning application appears and works.

Peyison can also provide onsite training and setup. We know that one of the drivers of user acceptance is understanding. We take the time to make sure users understand the system before we leave. Peyison is also available by telephone and email for any questions or concerns. We can also provide printed and online system documentation.

After system acceptance, Peyison provides a standard warranty. During the warranty period Peyison will fix reported errors. We also provide Maintenance agreements, if desired.
